DIY Jeans Jacket

Who has never been to a Sunday flea market before? Well yes, the women in my house love the Sunday market and we always go to find some good bargains. This time we went in search of a denim jacket that my sister asked a long time ago but the one we found was way too big and I really wanted to give it my personal touch so we decided to change it completely and give it a modern and casual air.

Materials:

  • A Denim jacket
  • Some Coloured buttons
  • A couple of patches
  • A needle and thread
  • Textile glue
  • Pliers

1. Remove all the stud buttons by grabing the bottom portion securely and with a pair of pliers pull up the top portion.

2. Choose the placement of the buttons and start to sew.

3. Then we take all the patches, choose where to put them and if we don’t have the heat adhesive ones just use some textile glue otherwise we just iron it. After all of this, we sew them for extra safety.
